Project Details

Frustrated by the challenges plaguing social media today I imagined a Social Media as a Service platform that would allow clubs and corporations to create and moderate their own platforms.

Using photo models of an Arctic Fox I refined the image that would become the logo for Porbu. From there I installed and configured BuddyPress on WordPress for my friends and family to experiment.

The concept of using a fox for the model was inspired by the Kitsune spirit in Japanese folklore. This spirit is known to have shapeshifting abilities. Here the platform would shape shift into the brand or need of the licensing group.
